Evaluations
A physical therapy evaluation is a comprehensive assessment where your therapist gathers information about your medical history, current symptoms, movement patterns, strength, flexibility, balance, and functional abilities. The therapist may also perform special tests to identify the root cause of any pain or limitations. The goal of the evaluation is to develop an accurate diagnosis and create a personalized treatment plan that addresses your specific needs.
Treatments
Physical therapy treatment is the hands-on care and guided exercise provided after the evaluation to address your specific needs and goals. Treatments may include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, modalities, and education on posture, movement, or lifestyle modifications. The goal of treatment is to reduce pain, restore mobility, improve strength and function, and prevent future injury. Each session is tailored to support your progress and help you return to daily activities.
Dry Needling
Dry needling is a skilled technique where your physical therapist inserts thin, solid needles into trigger points or tight bands of muscle to relieve pain and improve movement. It helps reduce muscle tension, increase blood flow, and restore normal function.
*Must have had previous Evaluation before scheduling your needling session.
Sport Analysis
A sports analysis in physical therapy is an assessment of how you move during your specific sport, focusing on strength, flexibility, balance, and biomechanics. It helps identify inefficiencies or movement patterns that may lead to injury or limit performance. The goal is to create a tailored plan to optimize performance, prevent injury, and support safe return to play.
